Welcome to the Eurasia Africa Energy Summit
EAES 2024 represents a decade-long journey of pioneering efforts in the energy sector.
Our origins are deeply rooted in the successful hosting of the KDR Well Engineering Forum, a partnership with JSC NC KazMunayGas and KMG Engineering, and the African Well Engineering Forum (AWEF) in Ghana.
Our Journey and Inspiration
Founded on the principles of fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration in the energy sector, the EAES is a culmination of our extensive experience and a clear understanding what is required to shape the future of oil, gas and energy in Central Asia. Since the launch of ROGTEC Magazine in 2002 and hosting upstream technology conferences across Russia, Kazakhstan, and Africa since 2012, we have developed a profound understanding of the market dynamics and technological innovations in the energy sector.
The KDR Well Engineering Forum, launched in 2015, has been a cornerstone od technology advancement and innovations in the drilling and production sector for nearly a decade. Co-located with EAES in 2024, it symbolizes our commitment to advancing industry knowledge and driving technological innovation.

Bridging the Gap
Throughout our journey, a critical observation was the conspicuous absence of dialogue between Central Asia and Africa, despite their status as leading oil and gas producers. This gap, especially stark against the backdrop of current geopolitical instability in Russia, Ukraine and latterly the Middle East, highlighted an urgent need for a platform facilitating partnerships and alliances.
The Eurasian African Energy Summit Vision
EAES is more than an event; it is a bilateral forum designed to bridge this gap, uniting key stakeholders from these dynamic regions. Our mission is ambitious yet attainable: fostering cross-border collaboration through knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and harmonizing approaches on critical issues like promoting local content and ensuring a just energy transition.
